I just fell for a pretty convincing scam. I’d been looking a some Darntough socks online (https://darntough.com). A few days later I saw an instagram ad claiming they were having a sale. The url was https://darntough-socks.com and the website is identical.

The bastards got $60 out of me. Well they would have but thankfully I used a credit card and issued an chargeback.

I just completed The Legend of Zelda – Skyward Sword. The controls are a little wacky, but it has probably the best boss battles of any Zelda game I’ve played. #TheLegendOfZelda #SkywardSword #gaming #Nintendo

Some friends dropped of freshly picked cherries, so we pitted them and turned them into a cherry crumble. It was delicious!

The little town I now live it is a western rodeo town and they use the word bucked very differently than would be common in Northern Ireland. Having the sense of humour a 15 year old boy this provides me with no end of laughter. The town slogan is "Let 'er buck" and this morning I came across this sign and it cracked me up.

I completed #LegendOfZelda The Minish Cap last night. It’s definitely my favourite of the classic 2D Zelda games.

Just bottled my second batch of beer. The first batch didn’t turn out great. Hoping this one is better!

I finally got my PC built today. Everything is working as expected and I’ve been able to run a few games etc. I decided to go with NixOS as the operating system as I love the nix package manager.

America is mad. From every window in my house I can see at least one USA flag. From most windows I can see 3 or more. 🇺🇸 🦅

I wonder if we could advance the use of semantic, accessible html on the web by showing that it makes it easier of AI agents to use and understand. We should have to, but if it helps… 🤔
