Short updates, links, and thoughts that do not need to be full blog posts.
Hey @noboilerplate, are you still using Nix? If so, what’s your thoughts now that you’re a few months in?

This is a great video on how AI and programming meet. It matches closely on how I feel software development will be changed by AI. Just as a spoiler, it’s a lot, but not in ways that matter that much.
This is a very cool exit strategy

I need #monitor #recommendations! I want something that I can use with my MacBook during the day for work, preferably with a single usb cable that also will do a decent job of pc gaming.
I should add I’m looking for a 4k monitor!
I just sponsored @imsnif. Zellij is such a great tool that I use every day. I want to make sure it sticks around and thrives. Go Sponsor your open source dependencies! You can join me at: https://github.com/sponsors/imsnif?o=ns&sc=t
This weekend I replaced the brakes and discs on my car. A little out my wheelhouse, but it’s not a complicated job. Or it shouldn’t have been. Who ever last put the wheel on absolutely mangled the studs, so I had to change a bunch of those. That was very much out of my wheelhouse, but I got it done!
I wrote about the Fediverse. I'm no export on this stuff, but I'll be sharing this on other social media sites to encourage others to come join us.
Did I get anything wrong or am I missing anything?
I added the author attribution header to my website, so here is a post checking if it works.
It does!
I enjoy watching Youtube videos of people making things. I watch everything this guy shares as he's funny af! Highly recommend!

Just played though this weird and fantastic little game. Definitely worth the couple of hours it took!
Has anyone come across a React library for wrapping controlled inputs and giving them an uncontrolled like API?
I know they’ll still be controlled and I will eventually replace them, but I’m going though a refactor and they aren’t the important part right now.
I just got Legend of Zelda - Windwaker HD running on my #SteamDeck. It’s fair to say I have my weekend plans sorted.
This is really interesting commentary on the #CrowdStrike issue from last week. Almost all online games use some form of anti cheat software which also runs at the kernel level.
